ICE insists on doing road work despite the 'no' of Attorney

Acuerpado por el Gobierno, el ICE insiste en incursionar en la construcción de obras viales, pese a que un criterio de la Procuraduría General de la República advirtió de que esa función se escapa de sus competencias, las cuales se limitan a electricidad y telecomunicaciones.
Carlos Obregón, presidente del Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE), contradijo al abogado del Estado al decir que el ICE y sus empresas pueden suscribir alianzas estratégicas y vender servicios a terceros bajo el alero de la ley actual.
