This will happen in all homes, businesses and industries in the country, if the Aresep applies a plan to recognize in the electricity rates the cost of fuel for generation. Thus, when the price of oil rises or falls, so will the bills for electric service. However, no changes will be made in parallel as the price of fuel is reviewed every month and the light would be every three months. The proposal is driven by its own Regulatory Authority of Public Services (Aresep) and subjected to public hearing in the coming weeks. |
